The Septuagint's Codex Vaticanus reads (Ozeid), which some take to suggest Uzziah (compare 27:25); see Curtis, Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the Books of Chronicles, 274-75; See Kittel, at the place.
Jaaziah:
(whom Jehovah comforts) apparently a third son, or a descendant, or Merari the Levite (1 Chronicles 24:26-27). (B.C. before 1014)
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
