Mountain of the Amorites:
specifically mentioned (Deuteronomy 1:19-20 compare Deuteronomy 1:44). It seems to be the range which rises abruptly from the plateau of et‐Tih, south of Judea, running from a little south of west to north of east, and of which the extremities are the Jebel Araif en‐Nakah westward and Jebel el‐Mukrah eastward, and from which line the country continues mountainous all the way to Hebron.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
