Guide (Noun and Verb):

"to lead the way" (akin to A), is used

(b) figuratively, in Jhn 16:13, of "guidance" into the truth by the Holy Spirit; in Act 8:31, of the interpretation of Scripture.

See RULE.

(2) Hegeomai, "to lead," in Hbr 13:7, 24, is rendered "that had the rule over" and "that have, etc.," more lit., "them that were (are) your leaders," or "guides."
