Telasear:
(Assyrian hill) is mentioned in 2 Kings 19:12 and in Isaiah 37:12 as a city inhabited by "the children of Eden,"-which had been conquered and was held in the time of Sennacherib, by the Assyrians. It must have been in western Mesopotamia, in the neighborhood of Harran and Orfa.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
