Psalm 118 :: Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

Psa 118:1

Psa 118:1Give ye thanks to Jehovah, For good, for to the age is His kindness.

Psa 118:2

Psa 118:2I pray you, let Israel say, That, to the age is His kindness.

Psa 118:3

Psa 118:3I pray you, let the house of Aaron say, That, to the age is His kindness.

Psa 118:4

Psa 118:4I pray you, let those fearing Jehovah say, That, to the age is His kindness.

Psa 118:5

Psa 118:5From the straitness I called Jah, Jah answered me in a broad place.

Psa 118:6

Psa 118:6Jehovah is for me, I do not fear what man doth to me.

Psa 118:7

Psa 118:7Jehovah is for me among my helpers, And I -- I look on those hating me.

Psa 118:8

Psa 118:8Better to take refuge in Jehovah than to trust in man,

Psa 118:9

Psa 118:9Better to take refuge in Jehovah, Than to trust in princes.

Psa 118:10

Psa 118:10All nations have compassed me about, In the name of Jehovah I surely cut them off.

Psa 118:11

Psa 118:11They have compassed me about, Yea, they have compassed me about, In the name of Jehovah I surely cut them off.

Psa 118:12

Psa 118:12They compassed me about as bees, They have been extinguished as a fire of thorns, In the name of Jehovah I surely cut them off.

Psa 118:13

Psa 118:13Thou hast sorely thrust me to fall, And Jehovah hath helped me.

Psa 118:14

Psa 118:14My strength and song is Jah, And He is to me for salvation.

Psa 118:15

Psa 118:15A voice of singing and salvation, Is in the tents of the righteous, The right hand of Jehovah is doing valiantly.

Psa 118:16

Psa 118:16The right hand of Jehovah is exalted, The right hand of Jehovah is doing valiantly.

Psa 118:17

Psa 118:17I do not die, but live, And recount the works of Jah,

Psa 118:18

Psa 118:18Jah hath sorely chastened me, And to death hath not given me up.

Psa 118:19

Psa 118:19Open ye to me gates of righteousness, I enter into them -- I thank Jah.

Psa 118:20

Psa 118:20This is the gate to Jehovah, The righteous enter into it.

Psa 118:21

Psa 118:21I thank Thee, for Thou hast answered me, And art to me for salvation.

Psa 118:22

Psa 118:22A stone the builders refused Hath become head of a corner.

Psa 118:23

Psa 118:23From Jehovah hath this been, It is wonderful in our eyes,

Psa 118:24

Psa 118:24This is the day Jehovah hath made, We rejoice and are glad in it.

Psa 118:25

Psa 118:25I beseech Thee, O Jehovah, save, I pray Thee, I beseech Thee, O Jehovah, prosper, I pray Thee.

Psa 118:26

Psa 118:26Blessed is he who is coming In the name of Jehovah, We blessed you from the house of Jehovah,

Psa 118:27

Psa 118:27God is Jehovah, and He giveth to us light, Direct ye the festal-sacrifice with cords, Unto the horns of the altar.

Psa 118:28

Psa 118:28My God Thou art, and I confess Thee, My God, I exalt Thee.

Psa 118:29

Psa 118:29Give ye thanks to Jehovah, For good, for to the age, is His kindness!
