Psalm 120 :: New King James Version (NKJV)

Plea for Relief from Bitter Foes
Psa 120:1A Song of Ascents.

In my distress I cried to the LORD,
And He heard me.
Psa 120:2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips
And from a deceitful tongue.
Psa 120:3What shall be given to you,
Or what shall be done to you,
You false tongue?
Psa 120:4Sharp arrows of the warrior,
With coals of the broom tree!
Psa 120:5Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech,
That I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
Psa 120:6My soul has dwelt too long
With one who hates peace.
Psa 120:7I am for peace;
But when I speak, they are for war.
