Psalm 126 :: New International Version (NIV)

Psa 126:1A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of[fn] Zion, we were like those who dreamed.[fn]

Psa 126:2Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”

Psa 126:3The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

Psa 126:4

Psa 126:4Restore our fortunes,[fn] LORD, like streams in the Negev.

Psa 126:5

Psa 126:5Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.

Psa 126:6

Psa 126:6Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
