Psalm 43 :: New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95)

Prayer for Deliverance.

Psa 43:1Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation;
[fn]O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
Psa 43:2For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me?
Why do I go mourning [fn]because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psa 43:3O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me;
Let them bring me to Your holy hill
And to Your dwelling places.
Psa 43:4Then I will go to the altar of God,
To God [fn]my exceeding joy;
And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.
Psa 43:5Why are you [fn]in despair, O my soul?
And why are you disturbed within me?
[fn]Hope in God, for I shall [fn]again praise Him,
The [fn]help of my countenance and my God.
