Psalm 145 :: New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95)

The LORD Extolled for His Goodness.

Psa 145:1A Psalm of Praise, of David.
I will extol You, my God, O King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Psa 145:2Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Psa 145:3Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised,
And His greatness is unsearchable.
Psa 145:4One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
Psa 145:5On the glorious [fn]splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
Psa 145:6Men shall speak of the [fn]power of Your awesome acts,
And I will tell of Your greatness.
Psa 145:7They shall [fn]eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness
And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.
Psa 145:8The LORD is gracious and merciful;
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
Psa 145:9The LORD is good to all,
And His mercies are over all His works.
Psa 145:10All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD,
And Your godly ones shall bless You.
Psa 145:11They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom
And talk of Your power;
Psa 145:12To make known to the sons of men [fn]Your mighty acts
And the glory of the majesty of [fn]Your kingdom.
Psa 145:13Your kingdom is [fn]an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
Psa 145:14The LORD sustains all who fall
And raises up all who are bowed down.
Psa 145:15The eyes of all [fn]look to You,
And You give them their food in due time.
Psa 145:16You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
Psa 145:17The LORD is righteous in all His ways
And kind in all His deeds.
Psa 145:18The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
Psa 145:19He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry and will save them.
Psa 145:20The LORD keeps all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.
Psa 145:21My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD,
And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.
