Psalm 131 :: New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95)

Childlike Trust in the LORD.

Psa 131:1A Song of Ascents, of David.
O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes [fn]haughty;
Nor do I [fn]involve myself in great matters,
Or in things too [fn]difficult for me.
Psa 131:2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child rests [fn]against his mother,
My soul is like a weaned child [fn]within me.
Psa 131:3O Israel, hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
