Psalm 113 :: New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95)

The LORD Exalts the Humble.

Psa 113:1[fn]Praise [fn]the LORD!
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
Praise the name of the LORD.
Psa 113:2Blessed be the name of the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
Psa 113:3From the rising of the sun to its setting
The name of the LORD is to be praised.
Psa 113:4The LORD is high above all nations;
His glory is above the heavens.
Psa 113:5Who is like the LORD our God,
Who is enthroned on high,
Psa 113:6Who [fn]humbles Himself to behold
The things that are in heaven and in the earth?
Psa 113:7He raises the poor from the dust
And lifts the needy from the ash heap,
Psa 113:8To make them sit with [fn]princes,
With the [fn]princes of His people.
Psa 113:9He makes the barren woman abide in the house
As a joyful mother of children.
[fn]Praise [fn]the LORD!
