Psalm 111 :: New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB95)

The LORD Praised for His Goodness.

Psa 111:1[fn]Praise [fn]the LORD!
I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart,
In the company of the upright and in the assembly.
Psa 111:2Great are the works of the LORD;
They are [fn]studied by all who delight in them.
Psa 111:3[fn]Splendid and majestic is His work,
And His righteousness endures forever.
Psa 111:4He has made His [fn]wonders [fn]to be remembered;
The LORD is gracious and compassionate.
Psa 111:5He has given [fn]food to those who [fn]fear Him;
He will remember His covenant forever.
Psa 111:6He has made known to His people the power of His works,
In giving them the heritage of the nations.
Psa 111:7The works of His hands are [fn]truth and justice;
All His precepts are [fn]sure.
Psa 111:8They are upheld forever and ever;
They are performed in [fn]truth and uprightness.
Psa 111:9He has sent redemption to His people;
He has [fn]ordained His covenant forever;
Holy and [fn]awesome is His name.
Psa 111:10The [fn]fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who [fn]do His commandments;
His praise endures forever.
