For Moses ^G3475 writes ^G1125 of the righteousness ^G1343 that is [fn]based ^G1537 on the Law ^G3551, that the person ^G444 who performs ^G4160 [fn]them will live ^G2198 by [fn]them.

How ^G4459 then ^G3767 are they to call ^G1941 on ^G1941 Him in whom ^G3739 they have not believed ^G4100? How ^G4459 are they to believe ^G4100 in Him whom ^G3739 they have not heard ^G191? And how ^G4459 are they to hear ^G191 without ^G5565 a preacher ^G2784?

“THEIR VOICE ^G5353 HAS GONE ^G1831 OUT INTO ALL ^G3956 THE EARTH ^G1093,

AND THEIR WORDS ^G4487 TO THE ENDS ^G4009 OF THE [fn]WORLD ^G3625.”

But I say ^G3004, surely ^G3361 Israel ^G2474 did not know ^G1097, did they? First ^G4413 Moses ^G3475 says ^G3004,

“I WILL MAKE ^G3863 YOU JEALOUS ^G3863 WITH THOSE WHO ARE NOT A NATION ^G1484,

WITH A FOOLISH ^G801 NATION ^G1484 I WILL ANGER ^G3949 YOU.”

And Isaiah ^G2268 is very ^G662 bold ^G662 and says ^G3004,

“I WAS FOUND ^G2147 BY THOSE ^G3588 WHO DID NOT SEEK ^G2212 ME,

I REVEALED ^G1096 G1717 MYSELF TO THOSE ^G3588 WHO DID NOT ASK ^G1905 FOR ME.”

But as for Israel ^G2474, He says ^G3004, “I HAVE SPREAD ^G1600 OUT ^G1600 MY HANDS ^G5495 ALL ^G3650 DAY ^G2250 LONG TO A DISOBEDIENT ^G544 AND OBSTINATE ^G483 PEOPLE ^G2992.”
