Revelation 14 :: New American Standard Bible 2020 (NASB20)

The Lamb and the 144,000 on Mount Zion

Then^G2532 I looked^G3708, and behold^G2400, the Lamb^G721 was standing^G2476 on Mount^G3735 Zion^G4622, and with Him 144,000^G1540^G5062^G5064^G5505 who had^G2192 His name^G3686 and the name^G3686 of His Father^G3962 written^G1125 on their foreheads^G3359.

Rev 14:2

Rev 14:2And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.

Rev 14:3

Rev 14:3And they *sang [fn]a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth.

Rev 14:4

Rev 14:4These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from mankind as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

Rev 14:5

Rev 14:5And no lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

Vision of the Angel with the Gospel

Rev 14:6

And I saw^G3708 another^G243 angel^G32 flying^G4072 in midheaven^G3321 with^G2192 an eternal^G166 gospel^G2098 to preach^G2097 to those^G3588 who [fn]live^G2521 on the earth^G1093, and to every^G3956 nation^G1484, tribe^G5443, language^G1100, and people^G2992;

Rev 14:7

Rev 14:7and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth, and sea and springs of waters.”

Rev 14:8

And another^G243 angel^G32, a second^G1208 one^G1208, followed^G190, saying^G3004, “[fn]Fallen^G4098, fallen^G4098 is Babylon^G897 the great^G3173, she who^G3739 has made^G4222 all^G3956 the nations^G1484 drink^G4222 of the wine^G3631 of the [fn]passion^G2372 of her sexual^G4202 immorality^G4202.”

Doom for Worshipers of the Beast

Rev 14:9

Then^G2532 another^G243 angel^G32, a third^G5154 one^G5154, followed^G190 them, saying^G3004 with a loud^G3173 voice^G5456, “If^G1487 anyone^G5100 worships^G4352 the beast^G2342 and his image^G1504, and receives^G2983 a mark^G5480 on his forehead^G3359 or^G2228 on his hand^G5495,

Rev 14:10

Rev 14:10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed [fn]in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and [fn]brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Rev 14:11

Rev 14:11“And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and [fn]whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Rev 14:12

Rev 14:12Here is the [fn]perseverance of the [fn]saints who keep the commandments of God and [fn]their faith in Jesus.

Rev 14:13

And I heard^G191 a voice^G5456 from heaven^G3772, saying^G3004, “Write^G1125: ‘Blessed^G3107 are the dead^G3498 who die^G599 in the Lord^G2962 from now^G737 on!’” “Yes^G3483,” says^G3004 the Spirit^G4151, “so^G2443 that^G2443 they may rest^G373 from their labors^G2873, for their deeds^G2041 follow^G190 with them.”

The Harvest

Rev 14:14

Then^G2532 I looked^G3708, and behold^G2400, a white^G3022 cloud^G3507, and sitting^G2521 on the cloud^G3507 was one^G3664 like^G3664 [fn]a son^G5207 of man^G444, with^G2192 a golden^G5552 crown^G4735 on His head^G2776 and a sharp^G3691 sickle^G1407 in His hand^G5495.

Rev 14:15

Rev 14:15And another angel came out of the [fn]temple, calling out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “[fn]Put in Your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth [fn]is ripe.”

Rev 14:16

Rev 14:16Then He who sat on the cloud [fn]swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

Rev 14:17

And another^G243 angel^G32 came^G1831 out^G1831 of the [fn]temple^G3485 which^G3588 is in heaven^G3772, and he also^G2532 had^G2192 a sharp^G3691 sickle^G1407.

Rev 14:18

Rev 14:18Then another angel, the one who has power over fire, came out from the altar; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “[fn]Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters [fn]from the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.”

Rev 14:19

Rev 14:19So the angel [fn]swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God.

Rev 14:20

Rev 14:20And the wine press was trampled outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, [fn]for a distance of [fn]1,600 stadia.
