You forgave ^H5375 the guilt ^H5771 of Your people ^H5971;

You covered ^H3680 all ^H3605 their sin ^H2403. Selah ^H5542

You withdrew ^H622 all ^H3605 Your fury ^H5678;

You turned ^H7725 away ^H7725 from Your burning ^H2740 anger ^H639.

Restore ^H7725 us, God ^H430 of our salvation ^H3468,

And cause Your indignation ^H3708 toward ^H5973 us to cease ^H6565.

Will You be angry ^H599 with us forever ^H5769?

Will You prolong ^H4900 Your anger ^H639 to [fn]all ^H1755 generations ^H1755?

Will You not [fn]revive ^H2421 us again ^H7725,

So that Your people ^H5971 may rejoice ^H8055 in You?

Show ^H7200 us Your mercy ^H2617, LORD ^H3068,

And grant ^H5414 us Your salvation ^H3468.

[fn]I will hear ^H8085 what ^H4100 God ^H410 the LORD ^H3068 will say ^H1696;

For He will speak ^H1696 peace ^H7965 to His people ^H5971, to His godly ^H2623 ones ^H2623;

And may they not turn ^H7725 back ^H7725 to [fn]foolishness ^H3690.

Certainly ^H389 His salvation ^H3468 is near ^H7138 to those who [fn]fear ^H3372 Him,

That glory ^H3519 may dwell ^H7931 in our land ^H776.

Graciousness ^H2617 and [fn]truth ^H571 have met ^H6298 together;

Righteousness ^H6664 and peace ^H7965 have kissed ^H5401 each other.

[fn]Truth ^H571 sprouts ^H6779 from the earth ^H776,

And righteousness ^H6664 looks ^H8259 down ^H8259 from heaven ^H8064.

Indeed ^H1571, the LORD ^H3068 will give ^H5414 what ^H2896 is ^H2896 good ^H2896,

And our land ^H776 will yield ^H5414 its produce ^H2981.

Righteousness ^H6664 will go ^H1980 before ^H6440 Him

And will make ^H7760 His footsteps ^H6471 into a way ^H1870.
