Psalm 57 :: New American Standard Bible 2020 (NASB20)

Prayer for Rescue from Persecutors.

For the music director; set to [fn]Al-tashheth. A [fn]Mikhtam of David, [fn]when he fled from Saul in the cave.

Be^H2603 gracious^H2603 to me, God^H430, be^H2603 gracious^H2603 to me,

For my soul^H5315 takes^H2620 refuge^H2620 in You;

And in the shadow^H6738 of Your wings^H3671 I will take^H2620 refuge^H2620

Until^H5704 destruction^H1942 passes^H5674 by^H5674.

I will cry^H7121 to God^H430 Most^H5945 High^H5945,

To God^H410 who accomplishes^H1584 all things for me.

He will send^H7971 from heaven^H8064 and save^H3467 me;

He rebukes^H2778 the one who [fn]tramples^H7602 upon me. Selah^H5542
