Prayer for Defense against Enemies.

Save^H3467 me, God^H430, by Your name^H8034,

And [fn]vindicate^H1777 me by Your power^H1369.

Psa 54:2

Hear^H8085 my prayer^H8605, God^H430;

Listen^H238 to the words^H561 of my mouth^H6310.

Psa 54:3

For strangers^H2114 have risen^H6965 against^H5921 me

And violent^H6184 men^H6184 have sought^H1245 my [fn]life^H5315;

They have not set^H7760 God^H430 before^H5048 them. Selah^H5542

Psa 54:4

Behold^H2009, God^H430 is my helper^H5826;

The Lord^H136 is [fn]the sustainer^H5564 of my soul^H5315.

Psa 54:5

[fn]He will pay^H7725 back^H7725 the evil^H7451 to my enemies^H8324;

[fn]Destroy^H6789 them in Your [fn]faithfulness^H571.

Psa 54:6
