Wash ^H3526 me thoroughly ^H7235 from my guilt ^H5771

And cleanse ^H2891 me from my sin ^H2403.

For I know ^H3045 my wrongdoings ^H6588,

And my sin ^H2403 is constantly ^H8548 before ^H5048 me.

Against You, You only ^H905, I have sinned ^H2398

And done ^H6213 what ^H7451 is ^H7451 evil ^H7451 in Your sight ^H5869,

So ^H4616 that ^H4616 You [fn]are justified ^H6663 [fn]when You speak ^H1696

And [fn]blameless ^H2135 when You judge ^H8199.

Behold ^H2005, I was brought ^H2342 forth ^H2342 in guilt ^H5771,

And in sin ^H2399 my mother ^H517 conceived ^H3179 me.

Behold ^H2005, You desire ^H2654 truth ^H571 in the [fn]innermost ^H2910 being ^H2910,

By Your favor ^H7522 do ^H3190 good ^H3190 to Zion ^H6726;
