Psalm 41 :: New American Standard Bible 2020 (NASB20)

The LORD ^H3068 will protect ^H8104 him and keep ^H2421 him alive ^H2421,

And he will be called ^H833 [fn]blessed ^H833 upon the earth ^H776;

And do not turn ^H5414 him over ^H5414 to the desire ^H5315 of his enemies ^H340.

The LORD ^H3068 will sustain ^H5582 him upon his sickbed ^H1741 H6210;

In his illness ^H2483, You [fn]restore ^H2015 him to health ^H3605 H4904.

As for me, I said ^H559, “LORD ^H3068, be ^H2603 gracious ^H2603 to me;

Heal ^H7495 my soul ^H5315, for I have sinned ^H2398 against You.”

My enemies ^H340 speak ^H559 evil ^H7451 against me,

“When ^H4970 will he die ^H4191, and his name ^H8034 perish ^H6?”

And [fn]when ^H518 he comes ^H935 to see ^H7200 me, he speaks ^H1696 [fn]empty ^H7723 words ^H7723;

His heart ^H3820 gathers ^H6908 wickedness ^H205 to itself;

When he goes ^H3318 outside ^H2351, he tells ^H1696 it.

All ^H3605 who hate ^H8130 me whisper ^H3907 together ^H3162 against ^H5921 me;

They plot ^H2803 my harm ^H7451 against ^H5921 me, saying,

“A wicked ^H1100 thing ^H1697 is poured ^H3332 out ^H3332 [fn]upon him,

So that when ^H834 he lies ^H7901 down ^H7901, he will not get ^H6965 up ^H6965 again ^H3254.”

Even ^H1571 my [fn]close ^H7965 friend ^H376 H7965 in whom ^H834 I trusted ^H982,

Who ate ^H398 my bread ^H3899,

Has lifted ^H1431 up ^H1431 his heel ^H6119 against ^H5921 me.

But You, LORD ^H3068, be ^H2603 gracious ^H2603 to me and raise ^H6965 me up ^H6965,

That I may repay ^H7999 them.

By this ^H2088 I know ^H3045 that You are pleased ^H2654 with me,

Because ^H3588 my enemy ^H340 does not shout ^H7321 in ^H7321 triumph ^H7321 over ^H5921 me.

As for me, You uphold ^H8551 me in my integrity ^H8537,

And You place ^H5324 me in Your presence ^H6440 forever ^H5769.
