The kings ^H4428 of the earth ^H776 take ^H3320 their stand ^H3320

And the rulers ^H7336 conspire ^H3245 together ^H3162

Against ^H5921 the LORD ^H3068 and against ^H5921 His [fn]Anointed ^H4899, saying,

“Let’s tear ^H5423 their shackles ^H4147 apart ^H5423

And throw ^H7993 their ropes ^H5688 away ^H7993 from us!”

He who [fn]sits ^H3427 in the heavens ^H8064 laughs ^H7832,

The Lord ^H136 scoffs ^H3932 at them.

Then ^H227 He will speak ^H1696 to them in His anger ^H639

And terrify ^H926 them in His fury ^H2740, saying,

“But as for Me, I have installed ^H5258 My King ^H4428

Upon Zion ^H6726, My holy ^H6944 mountain ^H2022.”

“I will announce ^H5608 the [fn]decree ^H2706 of the LORD ^H3068:

He said ^H559 to Me, ‘You are My Son ^H1121,

Today ^H3117 I have fathered ^H3205 You.

‘Ask ^H7592 it of Me, and I will certainly give ^H5414 the [fn]nations ^H1471 as Your inheritance ^H5159,

And the ends ^H657 of the earth ^H776 as Your possession ^H272.

‘You shall [fn]break ^H7489 them with a [fn]rod ^H7626 of iron ^H1270,

You shall shatter ^H5310 them like [fn]earthenware ^H3627 H3335.’”

Now ^H6258 then, you kings ^H4428, use ^H7919 insight ^H7919;

Let yourselves be instructed ^H3256, you [fn]judges ^H8199 of the earth ^H776.

Serve ^H5647 the LORD ^H3068 with [fn]reverence ^H3374

And rejoice ^H1523 with trembling ^H7461.

[fn]Kiss ^H5401 the Son ^H1248, that He not be angry ^H599 and you perish ^H6 on the way ^H1870,

For His wrath ^H639 may be kindled ^H1197 quickly ^H4592.

How blessed ^H835 are all ^H3605 who take ^H2620 refuge ^H2620 in Him!
