Psa 120:1

A Song of [fn]Ascents.

I cried^H7121 to the LORD^H3068 in my trouble^H6869,

And He answered^H6030 me.

Psa 120:2

Rescue^H5337 my soul^H5315, LORD^H3068, from lying^H8267 lips^H8193,

From a deceitful^H7423 tongue^H3956.

Psa 120:3

What^H4100 will He give^H5414 to you, and what^H4100 more^H3254 will He do^H3254 to you,

You deceitful^H7423 tongue^H3956?

Psa 120:4

Sharp^H8150 arrows^H2671 of the warrior^H1368,

With the burning coals^H1513 of the broom^H7574 tree^H7574!

Psa 120:5

Woe^H190 to me, for I reside^H1481 in Meshech^H4902,

For I have settled^H7931 among^H5973 the tents^H168 of Kedar^H6938!

Psa 120:6

Too long^H7227 has my soul^H5315 had its dwelling^H7931

With those who hate^H8130 peace^H7965.

Psa 120:7

I am for peace^H7965, but when^H3588 I speak^H1696,

They are for war^H4421.
