Nor ^H3808 do I have ^H3045 the knowledge ^H1847 of the Holy ^H6918 One ^H6918.

Who ^H4310 has ascended ^H5927 into heaven ^H8064 and descended ^H3381?

Who ^H4310 has gathered ^H622 the wind ^H7307 in His fists ^H2651?

Who ^H4310 has wrapped ^H6887 the waters ^H4325 in [fn]His garment ^H8071?

Who ^H4310 has established ^H6965 all ^H3605 the ends ^H657 of the earth ^H776?

What ^H4100 is His name ^H8034 or His [fn]Son’s ^H1121 name ^H8034?

Surely ^H3588 you know ^H3045!

Every ^H3605 word ^H565 of God ^H433 is [fn]pure ^H6884;

He is a shield ^H4043 to those who take ^H2620 refuge ^H2620 in Him.

Do not add ^H3254 to His words ^H1697

Or ^H6435 He will rebuke ^H3198 you, and you will be proved ^H3576 a ^H3576 liar ^H3576.

Do not slander ^H3960 a slave ^H5650 to his master ^H113,

Or ^H6435 he will curse ^H7043 you and you will be found ^H816 guilty ^H816.

There is a [fn]kind ^H1755 of person who curses ^H7043 his father ^H1

And does not bless ^H1288 his mother ^H517.

There is a [fn]kind ^H1755 who is pure ^H2889 in his own eyes ^H5869,

Yet is not washed ^H7364 from his filthiness ^H6675.

There is a [fn]kind ^H1755—oh how ^H4100 lofty ^H7311 are ^H7311 his eyes ^H5869!

And his eyelids ^H6079 are raised ^H5375 in arrogance.

There is a [fn]kind ^H1755 of person whose teeth ^H8127 are like swords ^H2719

Earth ^H776 that is ^H7646 never ^H3808 satisfied ^H7646 with water ^H4325,

And fire ^H784 that never ^H3808 says ^H559, “Enough ^H1952.”

The eye ^H5869 that mocks ^H3932 a father ^H1

And [fn]scorns ^H936 H3349 a mother ^H517,

The ravens ^H6158 of the valley ^H5158 will pick ^H5365 it out ^H5365,

And the young ^H1121 eagles ^H5404 will eat ^H398 it.

There ^H1992 are three ^H7969 things ^H7969 which are ^H6381 too ^H4480 wonderful ^H6381 for me,

Four ^H702 which I do not understand ^H3045:

The way ^H1870 of the eagle ^H5404 in the sky ^H8064,

The way ^H1870 of a snake ^H5175 on a rock ^H6697,

The way ^H1870 of a ship ^H591 in the middle ^H3820 of the sea ^H3220,

And the way ^H1870 of a man ^H1397 with a [fn]virgin ^H5959.

This ^H3651 is the way ^H1870 of an adulterous ^H5003 woman ^H802:

She eats ^H398 and wipes ^H4229 her mouth ^H6310,

And under ^H8478 four ^H702, it cannot ^H3201 H3808 endure ^H5375:

Under ^H8478 a slave ^H5650 when ^H3588 he becomes ^H4427 king ^H4427,

And a fool ^H5036 when ^H3588 he is ^H7646 satisfied ^H7646 with food ^H3899,

Under ^H8478 an unloved ^H8130 woman when ^H3588 she gets ^H1166 a ^H1166 husband ^H1166,

And a female ^H8198 servant ^H8198 when ^H3588 she dispossesses ^H3423 her mistress ^H1404.

Four ^H702 things ^H702 are small ^H6996 on the earth ^H776,

But they are exceedingly ^H2449 wise ^H2450:

The ants ^H5244 are not a strong ^H5794 people ^H5971,

But they prepare ^H3559 their food ^H3899 in the summer ^H7019;

The rock ^H8227 hyraxes ^H8227 are not a mighty ^H6099 people ^H5971,

Yet they make ^H7760 their houses ^H1004 in the rocks ^H5553;

The locusts ^H697 have ^H369 no ^H369 king ^H4428,

Yet all ^H3605 of them go ^H3318 out ^H3318 in ^H2686 ranks ^H2686;

The lizard ^H8079 you may grasp ^H8610 with the hands ^H3027,

Yet it is in kings’ ^H4428 palaces ^H1964.

There ^H1992 are three ^H7969 things ^H7969 which are stately ^H3190 in their march ^H6806,

Even four ^H702 which are stately ^H3190 when they walk ^H1980:

The lion ^H3918, which is mighty ^H1368 among animals ^H929

And does not [fn]retreat ^H7725 from anything ^H3605,

The [fn]strutting ^H2223 H4975 rooster ^H2223 or ^H176 the male ^H8495 goat ^H8495,

And a king ^H4428 when his army ^H510 is with him.

If ^H518 you have been ^H5034 foolish ^H5034 in exalting ^H5375 yourself,

Or if ^H518 you have plotted ^H2161 evil, put your hand ^H3027 on your mouth ^H6310.

For the [fn]churning ^H4330 of milk ^H2461 produces ^H3318 butter ^H2529,

And pressing ^H4330 the nose ^H639 produces ^H3318 blood ^H1818;

So the [fn]churning ^H4330 of anger ^H639 produces ^H3318 strife ^H7379.
