Leviticus 3 :: New American Standard Bible 2020 (NASB20)

The Law of Peace Offerings

‘Now if^H518 his offering^H7133 is a sacrifice^H2077 of peace^H8002 offerings^H8002, if^H518 he is going to offer^H7126 from the herd^H1241, whether^H518 male^H2145 or^H518 female^H5347, he shall offer^H7126 it without^H8549 defect^H8549 before^H6440 the LORD^H3068.

Lev 3:2

Lev 3:2‘And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

Lev 3:3

Lev 3:3‘From the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall then present an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,

Lev 3:4

Lev 3:4and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the [fn]lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.

Lev 3:5

Lev 3:5‘Then Aaron’s sons shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire; it is an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.

Lev 3:6

Lev 3:6‘But if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD is from the flock, he shall offer it, male or female, without defect.

Lev 3:7

Lev 3:7‘If he is going to offer a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the LORD,

Lev 3:8

Lev 3:8and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

Lev 3:9

Lev 3:9‘From the sacrifice of peace offerings he shall then bring as an offering by fire to the LORD, its fat, the entire fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone, the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,

Lev 3:10

Lev 3:10and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the [fn]lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.

Lev 3:11

Lev 3:11‘Then the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire to the LORD.

Lev 3:12

‘Now if^H518 his offering^H7133 is a goat^H5795, then he shall offer^H7126 it before^H6440 the LORD^H3068,

Lev 3:13

Lev 3:13and he shall lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

Lev 3:14

Lev 3:14‘From it he shall present his offering as an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,

Lev 3:15

Lev 3:15and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the [fn]lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.

Lev 3:16

Lev 3:16‘The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma; all fat is the LORD’S.

Lev 3:17

Lev 3:17‘It is a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.’”
