The Law of Grain Offerings

‘Now when^H3588 anyone^H5315 presents^H7126 a grain offering^H4503 as an offering^H7133 to the LORD^H3068, his offering^H7133 shall be of fine^H5560 flour^H5560, and he shall pour^H3332 oil^H8081 on it and put^H5414 frankincense^H3828 on it.

Lev 2:2

Lev 2:2‘He shall then bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests; and he shall take from it his handful of its fine flour and of its oil, with all of its frankincense. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.

Lev 2:3

Lev 2:3‘The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a most holy part of the offerings to the LORD by fire.

Lev 2:4

‘Now when you bring^H7126 an offering^H7133 of a grain offering^H4503 baked^H3989 in an oven^H8574, it shall be unleavened^H4682 cakes^H2471 of fine^H5560 flour^H5560 mixed^H1101 with oil^H8081, or unleavened^H4682 wafers^H7550 [fn]spread^H4886 with oil^H8081.

Lev 2:5

Lev 2:5‘And if your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it shall be of fine flour, unleavened, mixed with oil;

Lev 2:6

Lev 2:6you shall break it into bits and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.

Lev 2:7

Lev 2:7‘Now if your offering is a grain offering made in a [fn]pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

Lev 2:8

Lev 2:8‘When you bring in the grain offering which is made of these things to the LORD, it shall be presented to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar.

Lev 2:9

Lev 2:9‘The priest then shall take up from the grain offering its memorial portion, and shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.

Lev 2:10

Lev 2:10‘The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a most holy part of the offerings to the LORD by fire.

Lev 2:11

‘No^H3605^H3808 grain offering^H4503, which^H834 you bring^H7126 to the LORD^H3068, shall be made^H6213 with leaven^H2557, for you shall not offer^H6999 [fn]up^H6999 in^H6999 smoke^H6999 any^H3605 leaven^H7603 or any^H3605 honey^H1706 as an offering^H801 by^H801 fire^H801 to the LORD^H3068.

Lev 2:12

Lev 2:12‘As an offering of first fruits you shall bring them to the LORD, but they shall not ascend as a soothing aroma on the altar.

Lev 2:13

Lev 2:13‘Every grain offering of yours, moreover, you shall season with salt, so that the salt of the covenant of your God will not be lacking from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

Lev 2:14

‘Also if^H518 you bring^H7126 a grain offering^H4503 of early^H1061 ripened^H1061 things^H1061 to the LORD^H3068, you shall bring^H7126 fresh^H24 heads^H24 of^H24 grain^H24 roasted^H7033 in the fire^H784, crushed^H1643 grain^H1643 of new^H3759 growth^H3759, for the grain offering^H4503 of your early^H1061 ripened^H1061 produce^H1061.

Lev 2:15

Lev 2:15‘You shall then put oil on it and place incense on it; it is a grain offering.

Lev 2:16

Lev 2:16‘Then the priest shall offer up in smoke its memorial portion, part of its crushed grain and its oil with all its incense as an offering by fire to the LORD.
