Territory of Simeon

Then the second^H8145 lot^H1486 went^H3318 to Simeon^H8095, to the tribe^H4294 of the sons^H1121 of Simeon^H8095 according to their families^H4940; and their inheritance^H5159 was in the midst^H8432 of the inheritance^H5159 of the sons^H1121 of Judah^H3063.

Jos 19:2

Jos 19:2So they had in their inheritance Beersheba or [fn]Sheba and Moladah,

Jos 19:3

Jos 19:3Hazar-shual, Balah, and Ezem,

Jos 19:4

Jos 19:4Eltolad, Bethul, and Hormah,

Jos 19:5

Jos 19:5Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

Jos 19:6

Jos 19:6Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;

Jos 19:7

Jos 19:7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;

Jos 19:8

Jos 19:8and all the villages which were around these cities as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the [fn]Negev. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families.

Jos 19:9

Jos 19:9The inheritance of the sons of Simeon was taken from the portion of the sons of Judah, because the share of the sons of Judah was too large for them; so the sons of Simeon received an inheritance in the midst of [fn]Judah’s inheritance.

Territory of Zebulun

Jos 19:10

Now the third^H7992 lot^H1486 came^H5927 up^H5927 for the sons^H1121 of Zebulun^H2074 according to their families^H4940. And the territory^H1366 of their inheritance^H5159 was as far^H5704 as Sarid^H8301.

Jos 19:11

Jos 19:11Then their border went up to the west and to Maralah, and it reached Dabbesheth and reached to the [fn]brook that is opposite Jokneam.

Jos 19:12

Jos 19:12Then it turned from Sarid to the east toward the sunrise as far as the border of Chisloth-tabor, and it proceeded to Daberath and [fn]up to Japhia.

Jos 19:13

Jos 19:13From there it continued eastward toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and it proceeded to Rimmon [fn]which stretches to Neah.

Jos 19:14

Jos 19:14Then the border circled around it on the north to Hannathon, and [fn]it ended at the Valley of Iphtahel.

Jos 19:15

Jos 19:15Included also were Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem; twelve cities with their villages.

Jos 19:16

Jos 19:16This was the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Territory of Issachar

Jos 19:17

The fourth^H7243 lot^H1486 went^H3318 to Issachar^H3485, to the sons^H1121 of Issachar^H3485 according to their families^H4940.

Jos 19:18

Jos 19:18Their territory was to Jezreel and included Chesulloth, Shunem,

Jos 19:19

Jos 19:19Hapharaim, Shion, and Anaharath,

Jos 19:20

Jos 19:20Rabbith, Kishion, and Ebez,

Jos 19:21

Jos 19:21Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.

Jos 19:22

Jos 19:22The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and [fn]their border ended at the Jordan; sixteen cities with their villages.

Jos 19:23

Jos 19:23This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

Territory of Asher

Jos 19:24

Now the fifth^H2549 lot^H1486 went^H3318 to the tribe^H4294 of the sons^H1121 of Asher^H836 according to their families^H4940.

Jos 19:25

Jos 19:25Their territory was Helkath, Hali, Beten, and Achshaph,

Jos 19:26

Jos 19:26Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal; and it reached to Carmel on the west and Shihor-libnath.

Jos 19:27

Jos 19:27It turned toward the [fn]east to Beth-dagon and reached Zebulun, and to the Valley of Iphtahel northward to Beth-emek and Neiel; then it proceeded on [fn]north to Cabul,

Jos 19:28

Jos 19:28Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Great Sidon.

Jos 19:29

Jos 19:29The border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and [fn]it ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.

Jos 19:30

Jos 19:30Included also were Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob; twenty-two cities with their villages.

Jos 19:31

Jos 19:31This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Territory of Naphtali

Jos 19:32

The sixth^H8345 lot^H1486 went^H3318 to the sons^H1121 of Naphtali^H5321; to the sons^H1121 of Naphtali^H5321 according to their families^H4940.

Jos 19:33

Jos 19:33Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, and [fn]it ended at the Jordan.

Jos 19:34

Jos 19:34Then the border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor and proceeded from there to Hukkok; and it reached Zebulun on the south and reached Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan toward the [fn]east.

Jos 19:35

Jos 19:35The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

Jos 19:36

Jos 19:36Adamah, Ramah, and Hazor,

Jos 19:37

Jos 19:37Kedesh, Edrei, and En-hazor,

Jos 19:38

Jos 19:38Yiron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

Jos 19:39

Jos 19:39This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.

Territory of Dan

Jos 19:40

The seventh^H7637 lot^H1486 went^H3318 to the tribe^H4294 of the sons^H1121 of Dan^H1835 according to their families^H4940.

Jos 19:41

Jos 19:41The territory of their inheritance was Zorah, Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

Jos 19:42

Jos 19:42Shaalabbin, Aijalon, and Ithlah,

Jos 19:43

Jos 19:43Elon, Timnah, and Ekron,

Jos 19:44

Jos 19:44Eltekeh, Gibbethon, and Baalath,

Jos 19:45

Jos 19:45Jehud, Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,

Jos 19:46

Jos 19:46Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the territory opposite [fn]Joppa.

Jos 19:47

Jos 19:47The territory of the sons of Dan proceeded [fn]beyond them; for the sons of Dan went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. Then they struck it with the edge of the sword and took possession of it and [fn]settled in it; and they named [fn]Leshem Dan after the name of their father Dan.

Jos 19:48This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Jos 19:49

When they finished^H3615 apportioning^H5157 the land^H776 for^H5157 inheritance^H5157 by its borders^H1367, the sons^H1121 of Israel^H3478 gave^H5414 an inheritance^H5159 among^H8432 them to Joshua^H3091 the son^H1121 of Nun^H5126.

Jos 19:50

Jos 19:50In accordance with the [fn]command of the LORD, they gave him the city for which he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. So he built the city and [fn]settled in it.

Jos 19:51

These^H428 are the inheritances^H5159 which^H834 Eleazar^H499 the priest^H3548, Joshua^H3091 the son^H1121 of Nun^H5126, and the heads^H7218 of the fathers’^H1 households of the tribes^H4294 of the sons^H1121 of Israel^H3478 apportioned^H5157 by lot^H1486 in Shiloh^H7887 before^H6440 the LORD^H3068 at the doorway^H6607 of the tent^H168 of meeting^H4150. So they finished^H3615 dividing^H2505 the land^H776.
