“Mockers ^H2049 are certainly ^H518 H3808 with me,

And my eye ^H5869 [fn]gazes ^H3885 on their provocation ^H4784.

“Make ^H7760 a pledge ^H6162 for me with Yourself;

Who ^H4310 is there that will [fn]be ^H8628 my guarantor ^H8628 H3027?

“For You have [fn]kept ^H6845 their hearts ^H3820 away ^H6845 from understanding ^H7922;

Therefore ^H5921 H3651 You will not exalt ^H7311 them.

“He who informs ^H5046 against friends ^H7453 for a share ^H2506 of the spoils,

The eyes ^H5869 of his children ^H1121 also will perish ^H3615.

“But He has made ^H3322 me a proverb ^H4912 among the people ^H5971,

And I am ^H1961 [fn]one at whom people spit ^H8611.

“My eye ^H5869 has also become ^H3543 inexpressive ^H3543 because ^H4480 of grief ^H3708,

And all ^H3605 my body ^H3338 parts ^H3338 are like a shadow ^H6738.

“Nevertheless the righteous ^H6662 will hold ^H270 to his way ^H1870,

If I call ^H7121 to the grave ^H7845, ‘You are my father ^H1’;

To the maggot ^H7415, ‘my mother ^H517 and my sister ^H269’;

Where ^H346 then ^H645 is my hope ^H8615?

And who ^H4310 looks ^H7789 at ^H7789 my hope ^H8615?

“[fn]Will it go ^H3381 down ^H3381 with me to Sheol ^H7585?

Shall we together ^H3162 go ^H5181 down ^H5181 into the dust ^H6083?”
