Jeremiah 21 :: New American Standard Bible 2020 (NASB20)

But Jeremiah ^H3414 said ^H559 to them, “You shall say ^H559 to Zedekiah ^H6667 as follows ^H3541:

“You shall also say ^H559 to this ^H2088 people ^H5971, ‘This ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the LORD ^H3068 says ^H559: “Behold ^H2009, I am setting ^H5414 before ^H6440 you the way ^H1870 of life ^H2416 and the way ^H1870 of death ^H4194.

“Then say to the household ^H1004 of the king ^H4428 of Judah ^H3063, ‘Hear ^H8085 the word ^H1697 of the LORD ^H3068,

“Administer ^H1777 justice ^H4941 [fn]every morning ^H1242;

And save ^H5337 the person who has been robbed ^H1497 from the [fn]power ^H3027 of his oppressor ^H6231,

So ^H6435 that ^H6435 My wrath ^H2534 will not ^H6435 spread ^H3318 like fire ^H784

And burn ^H1197, with no ^H369 one ^H369 to extinguish ^H3518 it,

Because ^H4480 H6440 of the evil ^H7455 of their deeds ^H4611.

“Behold ^H2009, I am against ^H413 you, you inhabitant ^H3427 of the valley ^H6010,

You [fn]rocky ^H6697 plain ^H4334,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068,

“You who say ^H559, ‘Who ^H4310 will come ^H5181 down ^H5181 against ^H5921 us?

Or who ^H4310 will enter ^H935 our dwellings ^H4585?’

“But I will punish ^H6485 you according to the [fn]results ^H6529 of your deeds ^H4611,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068,

“And I will kindle ^H3341 a fire ^H784 in its forest ^H3293

So that it may devour ^H398 all ^H3605 its surroundings ^H5439.”’”
