“Do not learn ^H3925 the way ^H1870 of the nations ^H1471,

And do not be terrified ^H2865 by the signs ^H226 of the heavens ^H8064,

Although ^H3588 the nations ^H1471 are terrified ^H2865 by them;

For the customs ^H2708 of the peoples ^H5971 are futile ^H1892;

For it is wood ^H6086 cut ^H3772 from the forest ^H3293,

The work ^H4639 of the hands ^H3027 of a craftsman ^H2796 with a cutting ^H4621 tool ^H4621.

“They decorate ^H3302 the idol with silver ^H3701 and gold ^H2091;

They fasten ^H2388 it with nails ^H4548 and hammers ^H4717

So that it will not totter ^H6328.

“They are like a scarecrow ^H8560 in a cucumber ^H4750 field ^H4750,

And they cannot ^H3808 speak ^H1696;

They must ^H5375 be carried ^H5375,

Because ^H3588 they cannot ^H3808 walk ^H6805!

Do not fear ^H3372 them,

For they can do ^H7489 no ^H3808 harm ^H7489,

Nor ^H1571 H369 can they do ^H3190 any ^H1571 good ^H3190.”

There ^H369 is ^H369 none ^H369 like ^H3644 You, LORD ^H3068;

You are great ^H1419, and Your name ^H8034 is great ^H1419 in might ^H1369.

Who ^H4310 would not fear ^H3372 You, O King ^H4428 of the nations ^H1471?

For it is Your due ^H2969!

And the nations ^H1471 cannot ^H3808 endure ^H3557 His indignation ^H2195.

It is He who made ^H6213 the earth ^H776 by His power ^H3581,

Who established ^H3559 the world ^H8398 by His wisdom ^H2451;

And by His understanding ^H8394 He has stretched ^H5186 out ^H5186 the heavens ^H8064.

When He utters ^H5414 His voice ^H6963, there is a roar ^H1995 of waters ^H4325 in the heavens ^H8064,

And He makes the clouds ^H5387 ascend ^H5927 from the end ^H7097 of the earth ^H776;

The Portion ^H2506 of Jacob ^H3290 is not like these ^H428;

For He is the [fn]Maker ^H3335 of everything ^H3605,

And Israel ^H3478 is the tribe ^H7626 of His inheritance ^H5159;

The LORD ^H3068 of armies ^H6635 is His name ^H8034.

Pick ^H622 up ^H622 your bundle ^H3666 from the ground ^H776,

You who live ^H3427 under siege ^H4692!

For this ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the LORD ^H3068 says ^H559:

Nor ^H3808 is it in a person ^H376 who walks ^H1980 to direct ^H3559 his steps ^H6806.

Correct ^H3256 me, LORD ^H3068, but with justice ^H4941;

Not with Your anger ^H639, or ^H6435 You will [fn]bring ^H4591 me to ^H4591 nothing ^H4591.

Pour ^H8210 out ^H8210 Your wrath ^H2534 on the nations ^H1471 that do not know ^H3045 You,

And on the families ^H4940 who do not call ^H7121 upon Your name ^H8034;

For they have devoured ^H398 Jacob ^H3290;

They have devoured ^H398 him and consumed ^H3615 him,

And have laid ^H8074 waste ^H8074 his [fn]settlement ^H5116.
