They could ^H3201 not rescue ^H4422 the burden ^H4853,

But [fn]have themselves ^H5315 gone ^H1980 into captivity ^H7628.

“Listen ^H8085 to Me, house ^H1004 of Jacob ^H3290,

And all ^H3605 the remnant ^H7611 of the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478,

You who have been carried ^H6006 by Me from [fn]birth ^H990

And have been carried ^H5375 from the womb ^H7358;

Even to your old ^H2209 age ^H2209 I [fn]will be the same ^H1931,

And even ^H5704 to your [fn]graying ^H7872 years ^H7872 I will [fn]carry ^H5445 you!

I have [fn]done ^H6213 it, and I will bear ^H5375 you;

And I will [fn]carry ^H5445 you and I will save ^H4422 you.

“To whom ^H4310 would you liken ^H1819 Me

And make ^H7737 Me equal ^H7737, and compare ^H4911 Me,

That we would be ^H1819 alike ^H1819?

“Those who lavish ^H2107 gold ^H2091 from the bag ^H3599

And weigh ^H8254 silver ^H3701 on the scale ^H7070,

Hire ^H7936 a goldsmith ^H6884, and he makes ^H6213 it into a god ^H410;

They bow ^H5456 down ^H5456, indeed ^H637 they worship ^H2331 it.

“They lift ^H5375 it on the shoulder ^H3802, carry ^H5445 it,

And set ^H5117 it in ^H8478 its place ^H8478, and it stands ^H5975 there.

It does not move ^H4185 from its place ^H4725.

“Listen ^H8085 to Me, you stubborn-minded ^H47 H3820,

Who are far ^H7350 from righteousness ^H6666.

“I bring ^H7126 near ^H7126 My righteousness ^H6666, it is ^H7368 not far ^H7368 off ^H7368;

And My salvation ^H8668 will not delay ^H309.

And I will grant ^H5414 salvation ^H8668 in Zion ^H6726,

And My glory ^H8597 for Israel ^H3478.
