So that we may present ^H7999 [fn]the fruit ^H6529 of our lips ^H8193.

“Assyria ^H804 will not save ^H3467 us,

We will not ride ^H7392 on horses ^H5483;

Nor ^H3808 will we say ^H559 again ^H5750, ‘Our god ^H430’

To the work ^H4639 of our hands ^H3027;

For in You the [fn]orphan ^H3490 finds ^H7355 mercy ^H7355.”

I will heal ^H7495 their apostasy ^H4878,

I will love ^H157 them freely ^H5071,

Because ^H3588 My anger ^H639 has turned ^H7725 away ^H7725 from them.

I will be like the dew ^H2919 to Israel ^H3478;

He will blossom ^H6524 like the lily ^H7799,

And he will [fn]take ^H5221 root ^H8328 like the cedars of Lebanon ^H3844.

His shoots ^H3127 will [fn]sprout ^H1980,

His [fn]majesty ^H1935 will be like the olive ^H2132 tree ^H2132,

And his fragrance ^H7381 like the cedars of Lebanon ^H3844.

Those who live ^H3427 in his shadow ^H6738

Will [fn]again ^H7725 raise ^H2421 grain ^H1715,

And they will blossom ^H6524 like the vine ^H1612.

His fame ^H2143 will be like the wine ^H3196 of Lebanon ^H3844.

Ephraim ^H669, what ^H4100 more ^H5750 have I to do with idols ^H6091?

It is I who answer ^H6030 and look ^H7789 after ^H7789 [fn]you.

I am like a luxuriant ^H7488 juniper ^H1265;

From Me [fn]comes ^H4672 your fruit ^H6529.

Whoever ^H4310 is wise ^H2450, let him understand ^H995 these ^H428 things ^H428;

Whoever is discerning ^H995, let him know ^H3045 them.

For the ways ^H1870 of the LORD ^H3068 are right ^H3477,

And the righteous ^H6662 will walk ^H1980 in them,

But wrongdoers ^H6586 will stumble ^H3782 in them.
