Descendants of Adam

Gen 5:2

Gen 5:2He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them “mankind” on the day when they were created.

Gen 5:3

When Adam^H121 had lived^H2421 130^H3967^H7970 years^H8141, he fathered^H3205 a son in his own likeness^H1823, according to his image^H6754, and named^H7121^H8034 him Seth^H8352.

Gen 5:4

Gen 5:4Then the days of Adam after he fathered Seth were eight hundred years, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:5

Gen 5:5So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

Gen 5:6

Now Seth^H8352 lived^H2421 105^H3967^H2568 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Enosh^H583.

Gen 5:7

Gen 5:7Then Seth lived 807 years after he fathered Enosh, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:8

Gen 5:8So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

Gen 5:9

Now Enosh^H583 lived^H2421 ninety^H8673 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Kenan^H7018.

Gen 5:10

Gen 5:10Then Enosh lived 815 years after he fathered Kenan, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:11

Gen 5:11So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

Gen 5:12

Now Kenan^H7018 lived^H2421 seventy^H7657 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Mahalalel^H4111.

Gen 5:13

Gen 5:13Then Kenan lived 840 years after he fathered Mahalalel, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:14

Gen 5:14So all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.

Now Mahalalel^H4111 lived^H2421 sixty-five^H8346^H2568 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Jared^H3382.

Gen 5:16

Gen 5:16Then Mahalalel lived 830 years after he fathered Jared, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:17

Gen 5:17So all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.

Gen 5:18

Now Jared^H3382 lived^H2421 162^H3967^H8346^H8147 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Enoch^H2585.

Gen 5:19

Gen 5:19Then Jared lived eight hundred years after he fathered Enoch, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:20

Gen 5:20So all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.

Gen 5:21

Now Enoch^H2585 lived^H2421 sixty-five^H8346^H2568 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Methuselah^H4968.

Gen 5:22

Gen 5:22Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he fathered Methuselah, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:23

Gen 5:23So all the days of Enoch were 365 years.

Gen 5:24

Gen 5:24Enoch walked with God; and he was [fn]not, for God took him.

Gen 5:25

Now Methuselah^H4968 lived^H2421 187^H3967^H8084 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 Lamech^H3929.

Gen 5:26

Gen 5:26Then Methuselah lived 782 years after he fathered Lamech, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:27

Gen 5:27So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.

Gen 5:28

Now Lamech^H3929 lived^H2421 182^H3967^H8084 years^H8141, and fathered^H3205 a son^H1121.

Gen 5:29

Gen 5:29And he named him Noah, saying, “This one will give us comfort from our work and from the hard labor of our hands caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

Gen 5:30

Gen 5:30Then Lamech lived 595 years after he fathered Noah, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Gen 5:31

Gen 5:31So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.

Gen 5:32

Now after Noah^H5146 was five^H2568 hundred^H3967 years^H8141 old^H1121, Noah^H5146 fathered^H3205 Shem^H8035, Ham^H2526, and Japheth^H3315.
