“Now these^H428 are the names^H8034 of the tribes^H7626: from the northern^H6828 extremity^H7097, [fn]beside^H413^H3027 the way^H1870 of Hethlon^H2855 to [fn]Lebo-hamath^H935, as far as Hazar-enan^H2704 at the border^H1366 of Damascus^H1834, toward the north^H6828 [fn]beside^H413^H3027 Hamath^H2574, [fn]running^H1961 from east^H6921 to west^H3220, Dan^H1835, one^H259 portion.

Eze 48:2

Eze 48:2“Beside the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one portion.

Eze 48:3

Eze 48:3“Beside the border of Asher, from the east side to the west side, Naphtali, one portion.

Eze 48:4

Eze 48:4“Beside the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one portion.

Eze 48:5

Eze 48:5“Beside the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one portion.

Eze 48:6

Eze 48:6“Beside the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west side, Reuben, one portion.

Eze 48:7

Eze 48:8

“And beside^H5921 the border^H1366 of Judah^H3063, from the east^H6921 side^H6285 to the west^H3220 side^H6285, shall be the [fn]allotment^H8641 which^H834 you shall [fn]set^H7311 apart^H7311, twenty-five^H6242^H2568 thousand^H505 [fn]cubits in width^H7341, and in length^H753 like one^H259 of the portions^H2506, from the east^H6921 side^H6285 to the west^H3220 side^H6285; and the sanctuary^H4720 shall be in the middle^H8432 of it.

Eze 48:9

Eze 48:9“The allotment that you shall set apart to the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width.

Portion for the Priests

Eze 48:10

Eze 48:10“The holy allotment shall be for these, namely for the priests, toward the north twenty-five thousand cubits in length, toward the west ten thousand in width, toward the east ten thousand in width, and toward the south twenty-five thousand in length; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its midst.

Eze 48:11

Eze 48:11“It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have [fn]taken the responsibility I gave them, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray as the Levites went astray.

Eze 48:12

Eze 48:12“It shall be an allotment to them from the allotment of the land, a most holy reserve, by the border of the Levites.

Eze 48:13

Eze 48:13“And alongside the border of the priests, the Levites shall have twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width. The entire length shall be twenty-five thousand cubits and the width ten thousand.

Eze 48:14

Eze 48:14“Moreover, they shall not sell or exchange any of it, or allow this [fn]choice portion of land to pass to others; for it is holy to the LORD.

Eze 48:15

“The remainder^H3498, five^H2568 thousand^H505 cubits in width^H7341 and twenty-five^H2568^H6242 thousand^H505 [fn]in length^H5921^H6440, shall be for common^H2455 use^H2455 for the city^H5892, for homes^H4186 and for [fn]open^H4054 spaces^H4054; and the city^H5892 shall be in its midst^H8432.

Eze 48:16

Eze 48:16“And these shall be its measurements: the north side, 4,500 cubits, the south side 4,500 cubits, the east side 4,500 cubits, and the west side, 4,500 cubits.

Eze 48:17

Eze 48:17“The city shall have [fn]open spaces: on the north 250 cubits, on the south 250 cubits, on the east 250 cubits, and on the west 250 cubits.

Eze 48:18

Eze 48:18“The remainder of the length alongside the holy allotment shall be ten thousand cubits toward the east and ten thousand toward the west; and it shall be [fn]alongside the holy allotment. And its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.

Eze 48:19

Eze 48:19“And the workers of the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it.

Eze 48:20

Eze 48:20“The whole allotment shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand cubits; you shall [fn]set apart the holy allotment, a [fn]square, with the [fn]property of the city.

Portion for the Prince

Eze 48:21

“The remainder^H3498 shall be for the prince^H5387, on the one^H2088 side^H2088 and on the other^H2088 of the holy^H6944 allotment^H8641 and of the [fn]property^H272 of the city^H5892; in front^H6440 of the twenty-five^H2568^H6242 thousand^H505 cubits of the allotment^H8641 toward^H5704 the east^H6921 border^H1366 and westward^H3220 in front^H6440 of the twenty-five^H2568^H6242 thousand^H505 toward^H5921 the west^H3220 border^H1366, alongside^H5980 the portions^H2506, it shall be for the prince^H5387. And the holy^H6944 allotment^H8641 and the sanctuary^H4720 of the house^H1004 shall be in the middle^H8432 of it.

Eze 48:22

Eze 48:22“And exclusive of the [fn]property of the Levites and the [fn]property of the city, which are in the middle of that which belongs to the prince, everything between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall belong to the prince.

“As for the rest^H3499 of the tribes^H7626: from the east^H6921 side^H6285 to the west^H3220 side^H6285, Benjamin^H1144, one^H259 portion.

Eze 48:24

Eze 48:24“Beside the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one portion.

Eze 48:25

Eze 48:25“Beside the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one portion.

Eze 48:26

Eze 48:26“Beside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one portion.

Eze 48:27“Beside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one portion.

Eze 48:28

Eze 48:28“And beside the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the Great Sea.

Eze 48:29

Eze 48:29“This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their several portions,” declares the Lord [fn]GOD.

“Now these^H428 are the exits^H8444 of the city^H5892: on the north^H6828 side^H6285, 4,500^H2568^H3967^H702^H505 cubits by measurement^H4060,

Eze 48:31

Eze 48:31 [fn]shall be the gates of the city, [fn]named for the tribes of Israel, three gates toward the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; and the gate of Levi, one.

Eze 48:32

Eze 48:32“On the east side, 4,500 cubits, [fn]shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; and the gate of Dan, one.

Eze 48:33

Eze 48:33“On the south side, 4,500 cubits by measurement, [fn]shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; and the gate of Zebulun, one.

Eze 48:34

Eze 48:34“On the west side, 4,500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; and the gate of Naphtali, one.

Eze 48:35

Eze 48:35“The city shall be eighteen thousand cubits all around; and the name of the city from that day shall be, ‘[fn]The LORD is there.’”
