Offerings for the Sanctuary

(Exo 35:4–9 )

Then the LORD^H3068 spoke^H1696 to Moses^H4872, saying^H559,

Exo 25:2“Tell the sons of Israel to take a [fn]contribution for Me; from everyone whose heart moves him you shall take My [fn]contribution.

Exo 25:3

Exo 25:3“This is the [fn]contribution which you are to take from them: gold, silver, and bronze,

Exo 25:4

Exo 25:4 [fn]violet, purple, and scarlet material, fine linen, goat hair,

Exo 25:5

Exo 25:5rams’ skins dyed red, [fn]fine leather, acacia wood,

Exo 25:6

Exo 25:6oil for lighting, balsam oil for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,

Exo 25:7

Exo 25:7onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the [fn]breastpiece.

Exo 25:8

Exo 25:8“Have them construct a sanctuary for Me, so that I may dwell among them.

Exo 25:9

Exo 25:9“According to all that I am going to show you as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, so you shall construct it.

Ark of the Covenant

(Exo 37:1–9 )

Exo 25:10

“Now they shall construct^H6213 an [fn]ark^H727 of acacia^H7848 wood^H6086 [fn]two and a half^H2677 cubits^H520 [fn]long^H753, one and a half^H2677 cubits^H520 [fn]wide^H7341, and one and a half^H2677 cubits^H520 [fn]high^H6967.

Exo 25:11

Exo 25:11“You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and you shall make a gold molding [fn]around it.

Exo 25:12

Exo 25:12“You shall also cast four gold rings for it and [fn]fasten them on its four feet; two rings shall be on one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.

Exo 25:13

Exo 25:13“And you shall make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

Exo 25:14

Exo 25:14“You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark with them.

Exo 25:15

Exo 25:15“The poles shall [fn]remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be removed from it.

Exo 25:16

Exo 25:16“You shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.

Exo 25:17

“And you shall make^H6213 [fn]an atoning^H3727 cover^H3727 of pure^H2889 gold^H2091, [fn]two and a half^H2677 cubits^H520 [fn]long^H753 and one and a half^H2677 cubits^H520 [fn]wide^H7341.

Exo 25:18

Exo 25:18“You shall make two cherubim of gold; make them of hammered work [fn]at the two ends of the atoning cover.

Exo 25:19

Exo 25:19“Make one cherub [fn]at one end and one cherub [fn]at the other end; you shall make the cherubim of one piece [fn]with the atoning cover at its two ends.

Exo 25:20

Exo 25:20“And the cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings and [fn]facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the atoning cover.

Exo 25:21

Exo 25:21“Then you shall put the atoning cover [fn]on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you.

Exo 25:22

Exo 25:22“There I will meet with you; and from above the atoning cover, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about [fn]every commandment that I will give you for the sons of Israel.

Exo 25:23

“You shall also make^H6213 a table^H7979 of acacia^H7848 wood^H6086, [fn]two^H8147 cubits^H520 [fn]long^H753 and one cubit^H520 [fn]wide^H7341, and one and a half^H2677 cubits^H520 [fn]high^H6967.

Exo 25:24

Exo 25:24“You shall overlay it with pure gold and make a gold border around it.

Exo 25:25

Exo 25:25“And you shall make for it a rim of a [fn]hand width around it; and you shall make a gold border for the rim around it.

Exo 25:26

Exo 25:26“You shall also make four gold rings for it and put rings on the four corners which are on its four legs.

Exo 25:27

Exo 25:27“The rings shall be close to the rim, as holders for the poles to carry the table.

Exo 25:28

Exo 25:28“And you shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, so that with them the table may be carried.

Exo 25:29

Exo 25:29“You shall also make its dishes, its pans, its jars, and its libation bowls with which to pour drink offerings; you shall make them of pure gold.

Exo 25:30

Exo 25:30“And you shall set the bread of the [fn]Presence on the table before Me continually.

The Golden Lampstand

(Exo 37:17–24 )

Exo 25:31

“Then you shall make^H6213 a lampstand^H4501 of pure^H2889 gold^H2091. The lampstand^H4501, its base^H3409 and its shaft^H7070, are to be made^H6213 of hammered^H4749 work^H4749; its cups^H1375, its [fn]bulbs^H3730, and its flowers^H6525 shall be of one piece with it.

Exo 25:32

Exo 25:32“Six branches shall go out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its [fn]other side.

Exo 25:33

Exo 25:33“Three cups shall be shaped like almond blossoms on the one branch, a [fn]bulb and a flower, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the [fn]other branch, a [fn]bulb and a flower—the same for six branches going out from the lampstand;

Exo 25:34

Exo 25:34and on the lampstand four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its [fn]bulbs and its flowers.

Exo 25:35

Exo 25:35“A [fn]bulb shall be under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a [fn]bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a [fn]bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.

Exo 25:36

Exo 25:36“Their [fn]bulbs and their branches shall be of one piece with it; all of it shall be one piece of hammered work of pure gold.

Exo 25:37

Exo 25:37“Then you shall make its lamps seven in number; and they shall [fn]mount its lamps so as to shed light on the space in front of it.

Exo 25:38

Exo 25:38“Its tongs and its trays shall be of pure gold.

Exo 25:39

Exo 25:39“It shall be made from a [fn]talent of pure gold, with all these utensils.

Exo 25:40“See that you make them by the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain.
