But Daniel ^H1840 [fn]made ^H7760 up ^H7760 his mind ^H3820 that he would not defile ^H1351 himself with the king’s ^H4428 choice ^H6598 food ^H6598 or with the wine ^H3196 which he drank ^H4960; so he sought ^H1245 permission from the commander ^H8269 of the officials ^H5631 that he might not defile ^H1351 himself.
