The Lord ^H136 [fn]GOD ^H3068 has sworn ^H7650 by His holiness ^H6944,

“For behold ^H2009, the days ^H3117 are coming ^H935 upon you

When [fn]they will take ^H5375 you away with meat hooks ^H6793,

And the last ^H319 of you with fish ^H1729 hooks ^H5518.

“You will go ^H3318 out ^H3318 through holes ^H6556 in the walls,

One ^H802 in front ^H5048 of the other,

And you [fn]will be hurled ^H7993 to Harmon ^H2038,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068.

“Enter ^H935 Bethel ^H1008 and do ^H6586 wrong ^H6586;

In Gilgal ^H1537 multiply ^H7235 wrongdoing ^H6586!

Bring ^H935 your sacrifices ^H2077 every morning ^H1242,

Your tithes ^H4643 every three ^H7969 days ^H3117.

“[fn]Offer ^H6999 a thanksgiving ^H8426 offering ^H8426 also from that which is leavened ^H2557,

And proclaim ^H7121 [fn]voluntary ^H5071 offerings ^H5071, make ^H8085 them known ^H8085.

For so ^H3651 you love ^H157 to do, you sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478,”

Declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068.

“But I gave ^H5414 you also ^H1571 cleanness ^H5356 of teeth ^H8127 in all ^H3605 your cities ^H5892,

And lack ^H2640 of bread ^H3899 in all ^H3605 your places ^H4725;

Yet you have not returned ^H7725 to Me,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068.

“Furthermore ^H1571, I withheld ^H4513 the rain ^H1653 from you

While there were still ^H5750 three ^H7969 months ^H2320 until harvest ^H7105.

Then I would send ^H4305 rain ^H4305 on one ^H259 city ^H5892,

But on another ^H259 city ^H5892 I would not send ^H4305 rain ^H4305;

One ^H259 part ^H2513 would be rained ^H4305 on,

While the part ^H2513 not rained ^H4305 on would dry ^H3001 up ^H3001.

“So the people of two ^H8147 or three ^H7969 cities ^H5892 would stagger ^H5128 to another ^H259 city ^H5892 to drink ^H8354 water ^H4325,

But would not be ^H7646 satisfied ^H7646;

Yet you have not returned ^H7725 to Me,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068.

“I struck ^H5221 you with scorching ^H7711 wind and mildew ^H3420;

The caterpillar ^H1501 was devouring ^H398

Your many ^H7235 gardens ^H1593 and vineyards ^H3754, fig ^H8384 trees ^H8384 and olive ^H2132 trees ^H2132;

Yet you have not returned ^H7725 to Me,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068.

“I sent ^H7971 a plague ^H1698 among you [fn]as in Egypt ^H4714;

I killed ^H2026 your young ^H970 men ^H970 with the sword ^H2719, along ^H5973 with ^H5973 your captured ^H7628 horses ^H5483,

And I made the stench ^H889 of your camp ^H4264 rise ^H5927 up ^H5927 in your nostrils ^H639;

Yet you have not returned ^H7725 to Me,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068.

“I overthrew ^H2015 you, as God ^H430 overthrew ^H4114 Sodom ^H5467 and Gomorrah ^H6017,

And you were like a log ^H181 snatched ^H5337 from a fire ^H8316;

Yet you have not returned ^H7725 to Me,” declares ^H5002 the LORD ^H3068.

“Therefore ^H3651 so ^H3541 I will do ^H6213 to you, Israel ^H3478;

Because ^H6118 H3588 I will do ^H6213 this ^H2088 to you,

Prepare ^H3559 to meet ^H7122 your God ^H430, Israel ^H3478.”

For behold ^H2009, He who forms ^H3335 mountains ^H2022 and creates ^H1254 the wind ^H7307,

And declares ^H5046 to a person ^H120 what ^H4100 are His thoughts ^H7808,

He who makes ^H6213 dawn ^H7837 into darkness ^H5890

And treads ^H1869 on the high ^H1116 places ^H1116 of the earth ^H776,

The LORD ^H3068 God ^H430 of armies ^H6635 is His name ^H8034.
