Preach the Word

I solemnly^G1263 exhort^G1263 you in^G1799 the^G1799 presence^G1799 of^G1799 God^G2316 and of Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424, who is to judge^G2919 the living^G2198 and the dead^G3498, and by His appearing^G2015 and His kingdom^G932:

2Ti 4:2

2Ti 4:2preach the word; be ready [fn]in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and [fn]exhort, with [fn]great patience and instruction.

2Ti 4:3

2Ti 4:3For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires,

2Ti 4:4

2Ti 4:4and they will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

2Ti 4:5

2Ti 4:5But as for you, use self-restraint in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

2Ti 4:6

For I am already^G2235 being poured^G4689 out^G4689 as^G4689 a^G4689 drink^G4689 offering^G4689, and the time^G2540 of my departure^G359 has come^G2186.

2Ti 4:7

2Ti 4:7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;

2Ti 4:8

2Ti 4:8in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

2Ti 4:17But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might [fn]be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.

2Ti 4:18

2Ti 4:18The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will [fn]bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to [fn]Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

2Ti 4:19

2Ti 4:20

2Ti 4:20Erastus remained at Corinth, but I left Trophimus sick at Miletus.
