Finally^G3062, brothers^G80 and sisters, pray^G4336 for us that the word^G3056 of the Lord^G2962 will [fn]spread^G5143 rapidly^G5143 and be glorified^G1392, just^G2531 as^G2531 it was also^G2532 with you;

2Th 3:2

2Th 3:2and that we will be rescued from troublesome and evil people; for not all have the faith.

2Th 3:3

2Th 3:3But the Lord is faithful, [fn]and He will strengthen and protect you [fn]from the evil one.

2Th 3:4

2Th 3:4We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing, and will do, what we command.

2Th 3:5

2Th 3:5May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.

2Th 3:6

Now^G1161 we command^G3853 you, brothers^G80 and sisters, in the name^G3686 of our Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547, that you [fn]keep^G4724 away^G4724 from every^G3956 brother^G80 or sister who [fn]leads^G4043 a [fn]disorderly^G814 life^G4043 and not one in^G2596 accordance^G2596 with^G2596 the tradition^G3862 which^G3739 [fn]you received^G3880 from us.

2Th 3:7For you yourselves know how you ought to [fn]follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined way among you,

2Th 3:8

2Th 3:8nor did we eat [fn]anyone’s bread [fn]without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;

2Th 3:9

2Th 3:9not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a role model for you, so that you would [fn]follow our example.

2Th 3:10For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.

2Th 3:11

2Th 3:11For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies.

2Th 3:12

2Th 3:12Now we command and exhort such persons in the Lord Jesus Christ to work [fn]peacefully and eat their own bread.

2Th 3:13

2Th 3:13But as for you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary of doing good.

2Th 3:14

If^G1487 anyone^G5100 does not obey^G5219 our [fn]instruction^G3056 [fn]in this^G3588 letter^G1992, take^G4593 special^G4593 note^G4593 of that person^G3778 so as not to associate^G4874 with him, so^G2443 that^G2443 he will be put^G1788 to^G1788 shame^G1788.

2Th 3:15

2Th 3:15And yet do not regard that person as an enemy, but [fn]admonish that one as a brother or sister.

2Th 3:16

Now^G1161 may the Lord^G2962 of peace^G1515 Himself^G846 continually^G1223^G3956 grant^G1325 you peace^G1515 in every^G3956 [fn]circumstance^G5158. The Lord^G2962 be with you all^G3956!
