Then Samuel ^H8050 spoke ^H559 to all ^H3605 the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478, saying ^H559, “If ^H518 you are returning ^H7725 to the LORD ^H3068 with all ^H3605 your heart ^H3824, then remove ^H5493 the foreign ^H5236 gods ^H430 and the Ashtaroth ^H6252 from among ^H8432 you, and direct ^H3559 your hearts ^H3824 to the LORD ^H3068 and serve ^H5647 Him alone ^H905; and He will save ^H5337 you from the hand ^H3027 of the Philistines ^H6430.”

Then Samuel ^H8050 said ^H559, “Gather ^H6908 all ^H3605 Israel ^H3478 to Mizpah ^H4708 and I will pray ^H6419 to the LORD ^H3068 for you.”

Now when the Philistines ^H6430 heard ^H8085 that the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 had gathered ^H6908 at Mizpah ^H4709, the governors ^H5633 of the Philistines ^H6430 went ^H5927 up ^H5927 against ^H413 Israel ^H3478.
