Sexual Immorality Rebuked

It is actually^G3654 reported^G191 that there is sexual^G4202 immorality^G4202 among^G1722 you, and sexual^G4202 immorality^G4202 of such^G5108 a^G5108 kind^G5108 as does not exist even^G3761 among^G1722 the Gentiles^G1484, namely, that someone^G5100 has^G2192 his father’s^G3962 wife^G1135.

1Co 5:2

1Co 5:2 [fn]You have become [fn]arrogant and [fn]have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst.

1Co 5:3

For I, on my part^G1473, though^G3303 absent^G548 in body^G4983 but present^G3918 in spirit^G4151, have already^G2235 judged^G2919 him who has so^G3779 committed^G2716 this^G3778, as^G5613 though^G5613 I were present^G3918.

1Co 5:7

1Co 5:7Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

1Co 5:8

1Co 5:8Therefore let’s celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1Co 5:9

I wrote^G1125 to you in my letter^G1992 not to associate^G4874 with sexually^G4205 immoral^G4205 people^G4205;

1Co 5:10

1Co 5:10I did not at all mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the greedy and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.

1Co 5:11

1Co 5:11But [fn]actually, I [fn]wrote to you not to associate [fn]with any so-called brother if he is a sexually immoral person, or a greedy person, or an idolater, or is verbally abusive, or habitually drunk, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a person.

1Co 5:12

1Co 5:12For what business of mine is it to judge outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?

1Co 5:13

1Co 5:13But those who are outside, God [fn]judges. REMOVE THE EVIL PERSON FROM AMONG YOURSELVES.
