The sons^H1121 of Judah^H3063 were Er^H6147, Onan^H209, and Shelah^H7956; these three^H7969 were born^H3205 to him by Bath-shua^H1340 the Canaanitess^H3669. But Er^H6147, Judah’s^H3063 firstborn^H1060, was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of the LORD^H3068, so He put^H4191 him to^H4191 death^H4191.

1Ch 2:4His daughter-in-law Tamar bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

The sons^H1121 of Perez^H6557 were Hezron^H2696 and Hamul^H2538.

1Ch 2:6The sons of Zerah were [fn]Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and [fn]Dara; five of them in all.

Now Caleb^H3612 the son^H1121 of Hezron^H2696 had^H3205 sons^H3205 by Azubah^H5806 his wife^H802, and by Jerioth^H3408; and these^H428 were her sons^H1121: Jesher^H3475, Shobab^H7727, and Ardon^H715.

1Ch 2:19When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore to him Hur.

1Ch 2:20Hur fathered Uri, and Uri fathered Bezalel.

1Ch 2:21

Later^H310, Hezron^H2696 had^H935 relations^H935 with^H935 the daughter^H1323 of Machir^H4353 the father^H1 of Gilead^H1568, whom he married^H3947 when he was sixty^H8346 years^H8141 old^H1121; and she bore^H3205 to him Segub^H7687.

1Ch 2:22Segub fathered Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

1Ch 2:23

1Ch 2:23But Geshur and Aram took [fn]the villages of Jair from them, with Kenath and its villages, sixty settlements. All of these were the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

1Ch 2:24After the death of Hezron in Caleb-ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron’s wife, bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

Now the sons^H1121 of Jerahmeel^H3396, the firstborn^H1060 of Hezron^H2696, were Ram^H7410 the firstborn^H1060, then Bunah^H946, Oren^H767, Ozem^H684, and Ahijah^H281.

1Ch 2:26Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

1Ch 2:27The sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

1Ch 2:28The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai were Nadab and Abishur.

1Ch 2:29The name of Abishur’s wife was Abihail, and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.

1Ch 2:30The sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim, and Seled died without sons.

1Ch 2:31The [fn]son of Appaim was Ishi. And the [fn]son of Ishi was Sheshan, and the [fn]son of Sheshan, Ahlai.

1Ch 2:32The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai were Jether and Jonathan, and Jether died without sons.

1Ch 2:33

1Ch 2:33The sons of Jonathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the [fn]descendants of Jerahmeel.

1Ch 2:34Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. Sheshan also had an Egyptian servant, whose name was Jarha.

1Ch 2:35

1Ch 2:35Sheshan gave his daughter to his servant Jarha in marriage, and she bore to him Attai.

1Ch 2:36Attai fathered Nathan, Nathan fathered Zabad,

1Ch 2:37Zabad fathered Ephlal, Ephlal fathered Obed,

1Ch 2:43The sons of Hebron were Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

1Ch 2:44Shema fathered Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem fathered Shammai.

1Ch 2:45The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

1Ch 2:46Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran fathered Gazez.

1Ch 2:47The sons of Jahdai were Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

1Ch 2:48

1Ch 2:48Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Sheber and Tirhanah.

1Ch 2:49

1Ch 2:49She also gave birth to Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

1Ch 2:50

1Ch 2:50These were the sons of Caleb.

1Ch 2:51Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

1Ch 2:52Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Manahathites,

1Ch 2:53and the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.

1Ch 2:54

1Ch 2:54The sons of Salma were Bethlehem and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.

1Ch 2:55

1Ch 2:55The families of scribes who lived at Jabez were the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Sucathites. Those are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
