Dead to Sin, Alive to God

What^G5101 shall we say^G3004 then^G3767? Are we to continue^G1961 in sin^G266 so^G2443 that grace^G5485 may increase^G4121?

Rom 6:2

Rom 6:2May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

Rom 6:3

Rom 6:3Or do you not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

Rom 6:4

Rom 6:4Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.

Rom 6:5

Rom 6:5For if we have become [fn]united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be [fn]in the likeness of His resurrection,

Rom 6:6

Rom 6:6knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be [fn]done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;

Rom 6:7

Rom 6:7for he who has died has been [fn]justified from sin.

Rom 6:8

Now^G1161 if^G1487 we died^G599 with Christ^G5547, we believe^G4100 that we shall also^G2532 live^G4800 with Him,

Rom 6:9

Rom 6:9knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, [fn]is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.

Rom 6:10

Rom 6:10For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all, but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

Rom 6:11

Rom 6:11Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Rom 6:12

Therefore^G3767 do not let sin^G266 reign^G936 in your mortal^G2349 body^G4983 so^G1519 that you obey^G5219 its lusts^G1939,

Rom 6:13

Rom 6:13and do not go on presenting your members to sin as [fn]instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as [fn]instruments of righteousness to God.

Rom 6:14

Rom 6:14For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Slaves of Righteousness

Rom 6:15

What^G5101 then^G3767? Shall we sin^G264 because^G3754 we are not under^G5259 law^G3551 but under^G5259 grace^G5485? May it never^G3361 be!

Rom 6:16

Rom 6:16Do you not know that when you go on presenting yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin [fn]leading to death, or of obedience [fn]leading to righteousness?

Rom 6:17

Rom 6:17But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching to which you were given over,

Rom 6:18

Rom 6:18and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Rom 6:19

Rom 6:19I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, [fn]leading to further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, [fn]leading to sanctification.

Rom 6:20

For when^G3753 you were slaves^G1401 of sin^G266, you were free^G1658 in regard to righteousness^G1343.

Rom 6:21
