Results of Justification by Faith

Therefore^G3767, having been justified^G1344 by faith^G4102, [fn]we have^G2192 peace^G1515 with God^G2316 through^G1223 our Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547,

Rom 5:2

Rom 5:2through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and [fn]we boast in hope of the glory of God.

Rom 5:3

Rom 5:3And not only this, but [fn]we also boast in our afflictions, knowing that affliction brings about perseverance;

Rom 5:4

Rom 5:4and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;

Rom 5:5

Rom 5:5and hope does not put to shame, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Rom 5:6

For while we were still^G2089 weak^G772, at the right^G2540 time^G2540 Christ^G5547 died^G599 for the ungodly^G765.

Rom 5:7

Rom 5:7For one will hardly die for a righteous man, [fn]though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.

Rom 5:8

Rom 5:8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:9

Rom 5:9Much more then, having now been justified [fn]by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

Rom 5:10

Rom 5:10For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved [fn]by His life.

Rom 5:11

Rom 5:11And not only this, [fn]but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

The Gift of Righteousness in Christ

Rom 5:12

Rom 5:13

Rom 5:13for [fn]until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Rom 5:14

Rom 5:14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the trespass of Adam, who is a [fn]type of Him who was to come.

Rom 5:15

But [fn]the gracious^G5486 gift^G5486 is not like^G5613 the transgression^G3900. For if^G1487 by the transgression^G3900 of the one^G1520 the many^G4183 died^G599, much^G4183 more^G3123 did the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 and the gift^G1431 by the grace^G5485 of the one^G1520 Man^G444, Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547, abound^G4052 to the many^G4183.

Rom 5:16

Rom 5:16And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression [fn]resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the gracious gift arose from many transgressions [fn]resulting in justification.

Rom 5:17

Rom 5:17For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Rom 5:18

Rom 5:19

Rom 5:19For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were appointed sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be appointed righteous.
