The Seventh Seal

When^G3752 He opened^G455 the seventh^G1442 seal^G4973, there was silence^G4602 in heaven^G3772 for about^G5613 half^G2256 an^G2256 hour^G2256.

Rev 8:2

Rev 8:2Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Rev 8:3

And another^G243 angel^G32 came^G2064 and stood^G2476 at the altar^G2379, having^G2192 a golden^G5552 censer^G3031; and much^G4183 incense^G2368 was given^G1325 to him, so^G2443 that he might [fn]add^G1325 it to the prayers^G4335 of all^G3956 the saints^G40 on the golden^G5552 altar^G2379 which was before^G1799 the throne^G2362.

Rev 8:4

Rev 8:4And the smoke of the incense went up [fn]with the prayers of the saints, out of the angel’s hand, before God.

Rev 8:5

Rev 8:5Then the angel [fn]took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

The Seven Trumpets

Rev 8:6

And the seven^G2033 angels^G32 who had^G2192 the seven^G2033 trumpets^G4536 prepared^G2090 themselves^G848 to sound^G4537 them.

Rev 8:7

And the first^G4413 sounded^G4537, and there came^G1096 hail^G5464 and fire^G4442, mixed^G3396 with blood^G129, and they were thrown^G906 to the earth^G1093; and a third^G5154 of the earth^G1093 was burned^G2618 up^G2618, and a third^G5154 of the trees^G1186 were burned^G2618 up^G2618, and all^G3956 the green^G5515 grass^G5528 was burned^G2618 up^G2618.

Rev 8:8

And the second^G1208 angel^G32 sounded^G4537, and something like^G5613 a great^G3173 mountain^G3735 burning^G2545 with fire^G4442 was thrown^G906 into the sea^G2281; and a third^G5154 of the sea^G2281 became^G1096 blood^G129,

Rev 8:9

Rev 8:9and a third of the creatures which were in the sea—those which had life—died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Rev 8:10

And the third^G5154 angel^G32 sounded^G4537, and a great^G3173 star^G792 fell^G4098 from heaven^G3772, burning^G2545 like^G5613 a torch^G2985, and it fell^G4098 on a third^G5154 of the rivers^G4215 and on the springs^G4077 of waters^G5204.

Rev 8:11

Rev 8:11And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

Rev 8:12

And the fourth^G5067 angel^G32 sounded^G4537, and a third^G5154 of the sun^G2246 and a third^G5154 of the moon^G4582 and a third^G5154 of the stars^G792 were struck^G4141, so^G2443 that a third^G5154 of them would be darkened^G4654 and the day^G2250 would not shine^G5316 for a third^G5154 of it, and the night^G3571 in the same^G3668 way^G3668.

Rev 8:13

Then^G2532 I looked^G3708, and I heard^G191 [fn]an eagle^G105 flying^G4072 in midheaven^G3321, saying^G3004 with a loud^G3173 voice^G5456, “Woe^G3759, woe^G3759, woe^G3759 to those^G3588 who dwell^G2730 on the earth^G1093, because^G1537 of the remaining^G3062 blasts^G5456 of the trumpet^G4536 of the three^G5140 angels^G32 who are^G3195 about^G3195 to^G3195 sound^G4537!”
