The Throne in Heaven

(Isa 6:1–3 )

After^G3326 these^G3778 things^G3778 I looked^G3708, and behold^G2400, a door^G2374 standing open^G455 in heaven^G3772, and the first^G4413 voice^G5456 which^G3739 I had heard^G191, like^G5613 the sound of a trumpet^G4536 speaking^G2980 with me, said^G3004, “Come^G305 up^G305 here^G5602, and I will show^G1166 you what^G3739 must^G1163 take^G1096 place^G1096 after^G3326 these^G3778 things^G3778.”

Rev 4:2

Rev 4:2Immediately I was [fn]in the Spirit, and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.

Rev 4:3

Rev 4:3And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a [fn]rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.

Rev 4:4

Rev 4:4Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and upon those thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and golden crowns on their heads.

Rev 4:5

Rev 4:5And out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Rev 4:6

Rev 4:6And before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the [fn]center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.

Rev 4:7

Rev 4:7And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.

Rev 4:8

Rev 4:8And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within, and day and night [fn]they do not cease to say,

“HOLY^G40, HOLY^G40, HOLY^G40 is THE [fn]LORD^G2962 GOD^G2316, THE ALMIGHTY^G3841, WHO^G3588 WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO [fn]IS TO COME^G2064.”

Rev 4:9

And when^G3752 the living^G2226 creatures^G2226 give^G1325 glory^G1391 and honor^G5092 and thanks^G2169 to Him who sits^G2521 on the throne^G2362, to Him who lives^G2198 forever^G165 and ever^G165,

Rev 4:10

Rev 4:10the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

Rev 4:11

“Worthy^G514 are You, our Lord^G2962 and our God^G2316, to receive^G2983 glory^G1391 and honor^G5092 and power^G1411, for You created^G2936 all^G3956 things^G3956, and because^G1223 of Your will^G2307 they [fn]existed^G1510, and were created^G2936.”
