The River and the Tree of Life

Then^G2532 he showed^G1166 me a river^G4215 of the water^G5204 of life^G2222, bright^G2986 as crystal^G2930, coming^G1607 from the throne^G2362 of God^G2316 and of [fn]the Lamb^G721,

Rev 22:2

Rev 22:2in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve [fn]kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Rev 22:3

Rev 22:3And there will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His slaves will serve Him;

Rev 22:4

Rev 22:4and they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.

Rev 22:5

Rev 22:5And there will no longer be any night, and they [fn]will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them, and they will reign forever and ever.

Rev 22:6

And he said^G3004 to me, “These^G3778 words^G3056 are faithful^G4103 and true^G228”; and the Lord^G2962, the God^G2316 of the spirits^G4151 of the prophets^G4396, sent^G649 His angel^G32 to show^G1166 to His slaves^G1401 the things which^G3739 must^G1163 soon^G5034 take^G1096 place^G1096.

Rev 22:7

“And behold^G2400, I am coming^G2064 quickly^G5035. Blessed^G3107 is he who keeps^G5083 the words^G3056 of the prophecy^G4394 of this^G3778 book^G975.”

Rev 22:8

I, John^G2491, am the one who was hearing^G191 and seeing^G991 these^G3778 things^G3778. And when^G3753 I heard^G191 and saw^G991, I fell^G4098 down^G4098 to worship^G4352 at the feet^G4228 of the angel^G32 who showed^G1166 me these^G3778 things^G3778.

Rev 22:9

Rev 22:9But he *said to me, “[fn]Do not do that! I am a fellow slave with you and your brothers the prophets and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

The Final Message: Come

Rev 22:10

And he *said^G3004 to me, “Do not seal^G4972 up^G4972 the words^G3056 of the prophecy^G4394 of this^G3778 book^G975, for the time^G2540 is near^G1451.

Rev 22:11

Rev 22:11“Let the one who does unrighteousness, still do unrighteousness; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still do righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”

Rev 22:12

“Behold^G2400, I am coming^G2064 quickly^G5035, and My reward^G3408 is with Me, to render^G591 to every^G1538 man^G1538 [fn]according^G5613 to his work^G2041.

Rev 22:13

Rev 22:13“I am the Alpha and the Omega, THE FIRST AND THE LAST, the beginning and the end.”

Rev 22:14

Blessed^G3107 are those^G3588 who wash^G4150 their robes^G4749, so^G2443 that they may have the authority^G1849 to the tree^G3586 of life^G2222 and may enter^G1525 by the gates^G4440 into the city^G4172.

Rev 22:15

Rev 22:15Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

Rev 22:16

“I, Jesus^G2424, sent^G3992 My angel^G32 to bear^G3140 witness^G3140 to you of these^G3778 things^G3778 [fn]for the churches^G1577. I am^G1510 the root^G4491 and the descendant^G1085 of David^G1138, the bright^G2986 morning^G4407 star^G792.”

Rev 22:17

And the Spirit^G4151 and the bride^G3565 say^G3004, “Come^G2064.” And let the one who hears^G191 say^G3004, “Come^G2064.” And let the one who is thirsty^G1372 come^G2064. Let the one who wishes^G2309 receive^G2983 the water^G5204 of life^G2222 without^G1432 cost^G1432.

Rev 22:18

I bear^G3140 witness^G3140 to everyone^G3956 who hears^G191 the words^G3056 of the prophecy^G4394 of this^G3778 book^G975: If^G1437 anyone^G5100 adds^G2007 to them, God^G2316 will add^G2007 to him the plagues^G4127 which are written^G1125 in this^G3778 book^G975.

Rev 22:19

Rev 22:19And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and [fn]from the holy city, which are written in this book.

Rev 22:20

He who bears^G3140 witness^G3140 to these^G3778 things^G3778 says^G3004, “Yes^G3483, I am coming^G2064 quickly^G5035.” Amen^G281. Come^G2064, Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424.
