“For ^H3588 I select ^H3947 an appointed ^H4150 time ^H4150,

It is I who judge ^H8199 with equity ^H4339.

“The earth ^H776 and all ^H3605 who dwell ^H3427 in it [fn]melt ^H4127;

It is I who have firmly ^H8505 set ^H8505 its pillars ^H5982. [fn]Selah ^H5542.

“I said ^H559 to the boastful ^H1984, ‘Do not boast ^H1984,’

And to the wicked ^H7563, ‘Do not raise ^H7311 up ^H7311 the horn ^H7161;

Do not raise ^H7311 up ^H7311 your horn ^H7161 on high ^H4791,

Nor speak ^H1696 with insolent ^H6277 [fn]pride ^H6677.’”

For one’s rising ^H7311 up ^H7311 does not come from the east ^H4161, nor ^H3808 from the west ^H4628,

And ^H3808 not from the [fn]desert ^H4057;

But God ^H430 is the Judge ^H8199;

He puts ^H8213 down ^H8213 one ^H2088 and raises ^H7311 up ^H7311 another ^H2088.

For a cup ^H3563 is in the hand ^H3027 of Yahweh ^H3068, and the wine ^H3196 foams ^H2560;

It is full ^H4392 of His mixture ^H4538, and He pours ^H5064 from this ^H2088;

Surely ^H389 all ^H3605 the wicked ^H7563 of the earth ^H776 must drain ^H4680 and drink ^H8354 down ^H8354 its dregs ^H8105.

But as for me, I will declare ^H5046 it forever ^H5769;
