Rich ^H6223 and poor ^H34 together ^H3162.

My mouth ^H6310 will speak ^H1696 wisdom ^H2451,

And the meditation ^H1900 of my heart ^H3820 will be discernment ^H8394.

I will incline ^H5186 my ear ^H241 to a proverb ^H4912;

I will [fn]express ^H6605 my riddle ^H2420 on the harp ^H3658.

Why ^H4100 should I fear ^H3372 in days ^H3117 of evil ^H7451,

When the iniquity ^H5771 of my [fn]supplanters ^H6120 surrounds ^H5437 me,

Even those who trust ^H982 in their wealth ^H2428

And boast ^H1984 in the abundance ^H7230 of their riches ^H6239?

Truly ^H6299, no ^H3808 man ^H376 can redeem ^H6299 his brother ^H251;

He cannot ^H3808 give ^H5414 to God ^H430 a ransom ^H3724 for him—

For the redemption ^H6306 price ^H6306 for their soul ^H5315 is ^H3365 costly ^H3365,

And it ceases ^H2308 forever ^H5769—

That he should live ^H2421 on eternally ^H5331,

That he should not see ^H7845 [fn]corruption ^H7845.

For he sees ^H7200 that even wise ^H2450 men ^H2450 die ^H4191;

The [fn]fool ^H3684 and the senseless ^H1198 alike ^H3162 perish ^H6

And leave ^H5800 their wealth ^H2428 to others ^H312.

Their [fn]inner ^H7130 thought ^H7130 is that their houses ^H1004 are forever ^H5769

And their dwelling ^H4908 places ^H4908 [fn]from generation ^H1755 to ^H1755 generation ^H1755;

They have called ^H7121 their lands ^H127 after their own names ^H8034.

But man ^H120 in his honor ^H3366 will not endure ^H3885;

He is like ^H4911 the animals ^H929 that [fn]perish ^H1820.

This ^H2088 is the way ^H1870 of those who are foolish ^H3689,

And of those after ^H310 them who are pleased ^H7521 [fn]with their words ^H6310. [fn]Selah ^H5542.

As sheep ^H6629 they are appointed ^H8371 for Sheol ^H7585;

Death ^H4194 will shepherd ^H7462 them;

And the upright ^H3477 shall have ^H7287 dominion ^H7287 over them in the morning ^H1242,

And their form ^H6736 shall be for Sheol ^H7585 to consume ^H1086,

Far away from ^H4480 his habitation ^H2073.

But God ^H430 will redeem ^H6299 my soul ^H5315 from the [fn]power ^H3027 of Sheol ^H7585,

For He will receive ^H3947 me. Selah ^H5542.

Do not be ^H3372 afraid ^H3372 when ^H3588 a man ^H376 becomes ^H6238 rich ^H6238,

When ^H3588 the [fn]glory ^H3519 of his house ^H1004 increases ^H7235;

For when ^H3588 he dies ^H4194 he will not ^H3808 take ^H3947 any of it ^H3605;

His [fn]glory ^H3519 will not descend ^H3381 after ^H310 him.

For ^H3588 while he lives ^H2416 he blesses ^H1288 his soul ^H5315—

And men will praise ^H3034 you when ^H3588 you do ^H3190 well ^H3190 for yourself—

But his soul shall go ^H935 to the generation ^H1755 of his fathers ^H1;

They will eternally ^H5704 H5331 not ^H3808 see ^H7200 light ^H216.

Man ^H120 in his honor ^H3366, but who does not ^H3808 understand ^H995,

Is like ^H4911 the animals ^H929 that [fn]perish ^H1820.
