Psa 47:1

For the choir director. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.

Psa 47:2

For Yahweh^H3068 Most^H5945 High^H5945 is [fn]fearsome^H3372,

A great^H1419 King^H4428 over^H5921 all^H3605 the earth^H776.

Psa 47:3

He subdues^H1696 peoples^H5971 under^H8478 us

And nations^H3816 under^H8478 our feet^H7272.

Psa 47:4

He chooses^H977 our inheritance^H5159 for us,

Psa 47:7

For God^H430 is the King^H4428 of all^H3605 the earth^H776;

Psa 47:8

God^H430 reigns^H4427 over^H5921 the nations^H1471,

God^H430 [fn]sits^H3427 on His holy^H6944 throne^H3678.

Psa 47:9

The nobles^H5081 of the peoples^H5971 have assembled^H622 themselves with the people^H5971 of the God^H430 of Abraham^H85,

For the shields^H4043 of the earth^H776 belong to God^H430;
