My tongue^H3956 is the pen^H5842 of a skillful^H4106 scribe^H5608.

Psa 45:2

You are^H3302 fairer^H3302 than^H4480 the sons^H1121 of men^H120;

Grace^H2580 is poured^H3332 [fn]upon Your lips^H8193;

Therefore^H5921^H3651 God^H430 has blessed^H1288 You forever^H5769.

Psa 45:3

Gird^H2296 Your sword^H2719 on Your thigh^H3409, O [fn]Mighty^H1368 One^H1368,

In Your splendor^H1935 and Your majesty^H1926!

Psa 45:4

And in Your majesty^H1926 ride^H7392 on victoriously^H6743,

For the cause^H1697 of truth^H571 and meekness^H6038 and righteousness^H6664;

Psa 45:5

Your arrows are in the heart^H3820 of the King’s^H4428 enemies^H340.

Psa 45:6

Your throne^H3678, O God^H430, is forever^H5769 and ever^H5703;

A scepter^H7626 of uprightness^H4334 is the scepter^H7626 of Your kingdom^H4438.

Psa 45:7

You have loved^H157 righteousness^H6664 and hated^H8130 wickedness^H7562;

Psa 45:8

Psa 45:9

Kings’^H4428 daughters^H1323 are among Your noble^H3368 ladies;

Psa 45:10

Listen^H8085, O daughter^H1323, give^H7200 attention^H7200 and incline^H5186 your ear^H241:

Forget^H7911 your people^H5971 and your father’s^H1 house^H1004;

Psa 45:11

Then the King^H4428 will desire^H183 your beauty^H3308.

Psa 45:12

The daughter^H1323 of Tyre^H6865 will come with a present^H4503;

The rich^H6223 among the people^H5971 will seek^H2470 your favor^H6440.

Psa 45:13

The King’s^H4428 daughter^H1323 is all^H3605 glorious^H3519 within^H6441 her chamber;

Her clothing^H3830 is interwoven^H4865 with gold^H2091.

Psa 45:14

She will be led^H2986 to the King^H4428 in embroidered^H7553 work^H7553;

Will be brought^H935 to You.
