You with Your own hand ^H3027 dispossessed ^H3423 the nations ^H1471;

Then You planted ^H5193 them;

You afflicted ^H7489 the peoples ^H3816,

Then You cast ^H7971 them out ^H7971.

For by their own sword ^H2719 they did not possess ^H3423 the land ^H776,

And their own arm ^H2220 did not save ^H3467 them,

But Your right ^H3225 hand ^H3225 and Your arm ^H2220 and the light ^H216 of Your presence ^H6440,

For You favored ^H7521 them.

You are my King ^H4428, O God ^H430;

Command ^H6680 [fn]salvation ^H3444 for Jacob ^H3290.

Through You we will push ^H5055 back ^H5055 our adversaries ^H6862;

Through Your name ^H8034 we will tread ^H947 down ^H947 those who rise ^H6965 up ^H6965 against us.
